Carlisle Cookout 2010

Well we had another successful cookout. Even with the torrential rain we had (it was right out of a Cecil B. DeMille Movie), as we tried to leave the field, mother nature was on our side by the time we were ready to start grilling. This year was the best turn out we have ever had for the cookout, and it was nice to get a chance to talk with our 7-Litre friends. As usual we had our supply of chicken and brats as well as all the fixin's and desserts. Felix surprised us all with a cooler full of Real Cuban Sandwiches direct from Miami. Our once a year get together reinforced why this is such a great group. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Drinks flowed as easily as the stories and information. We even tried to play another round od "Try and stump Russ", but to no avail. We are already looking forward to next Year's cookout. It sure beats communicating back and forth on email!

"Don't I look Purty? "
(Russ prepares for battle)

"Thank God I have a beer, cuz listening to
these guys is KILLIN' me! "

Paul B. and Bruce Miller

Could we be having a better time?

Charlie, Eric. Eric, Charlie

"Hey! Can't you see we are trying to eat!"

"No, no, no. It HAS to have pickles or it is not a REAL Cuban Sandwich "

"Oooooooooh. The wheels
on the bus go..... "

These boys are up to no good!

"Hey You! Over there! Which is better? A thick white stripe or a red stripe that
matches your tires? "

"Charlie. Don't turn around. Tom still has one
of those OLD hats on! "

I think Paul is trying to tell us something!

"No Bill. I'm sorry. It is NOT enough to say you ONCE owned a 7-Litre!"
