Runs and drives but needs attention to be the perfect spring driver.  Factory equipped with: Power windows,  power drivers seat A/C, C6, brake warning light, reclining passenger seat, reverb am stereo and emergency brake warning light. Car has a solid rust free chassis and a clean straight body.  Small holes in toe board of rear floor pan is the only rust I found.  Easy POR 15patch or repair.  Older repaint (17-18 years) still presents well in the original Springtime Yellow hue.  Overall the body, interior are in nice driver/survivor looking condition.  Original upholstery on seats and door panels.  Engine in car is unknown CI (390 or 428) service block not factory).  Engine was clearly rebuilt years ago and remains clean inside with a mild solid lifter cam and adjustable valve-train, edelbrock intake with Holley carb and headers.  Runs well but needs a good tune up.  C6 also was rebuilt some time ago and shifts well.  (Mild performance shift kit)Car comes with a proper A scratch 428 short block for rebuild and a pair of freshly rebuilt galaxie C6AE heads. The power windows are a bit slow and the a/c is not hooked up.  Overall, she has good bones and with a little going over of the details, this will be an awesome driver or dare I say restoration.

This all-original, 7 Litre is a rust-free Texas car.  The exterior sheet metal is a little rough.  The right front fender is a little crunched and will probably need to be replaced.  The rest of the car can be straightened out with some body work.  The car has AC, PS. It also has a locking Ford 9" rear end and C6 automatic transmission.  appears to be the original engine.  The floor pans and trunk pan are in good shape, as are both bumpers and most of the exterior trim.  One of the hood hinges is a little messed up and might need to be replaced.  It was running a few years ago. $5,500.00

The car was last registered in Massachusetts in 1986, and appears to have been garaged since that time.  No prior history other than it being a Los Angeles build. No door tag info as the door was replaced at one time.  Good news is that the cowl tag and fender tags were visible and were correct. The motor is in the middle of a rebuild.  Many performance parts. The body is in good condition, with a few manageable rust areas in the rear quarters, and the frame very good. All of the chrome is still be with the car. It would need to be redone as part of the restoration. $6,000.00

For sale is what has to be about the nicest original 4-speed 1966 7 Litre in existence. Completely rust free 4 speed along with power window, door locks, power steering, and factory AM-FM radio (which works sometimes, other times not). One of the reasons for the low miles I was told was one of the four owners of this car owned a string of auto parts stores and used this car as a local show car.  When I got it, it had velour inserts in the stock pattern on the seats and a completely upholstered trunk.  I returned these to original.  I was also told that he added a posi unit to the original rear end and added a little hotter crane cam.  (The card is in the glove box)  The car was treated to a repaint sometime during this period. The car has chrome and bright work that looks like it just came off the showroom floor.  Everything in the interior is like new condition. The tires are new with 215-70X15 in the front and 255-70X15 in the rear.

This car is concours, a THOROUGH restoration, of a car that was already in excellent condition. EVERYTHING needing replacing was done with NOS or quality. Restoration binder included. The project was to make it like new; but it ended up even better than new. It's all correct too, every little mark and tag just like new. Its been in the climate controlled care of the 7-litre King for many years, and before that restored by a Ford fanatic with access to near unlimited NOS parts !Nightmist blue, 4spd, P/W, PDL, AC, convenience group, and more . . all numbers matching and features via body and VIN code #s.

Originally a California car that is rust free.  This eyecatching double black car was extensively refurbished. It was stripped and repainted, engine rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, most mechanical systems including fuel and cooling were replaced. This car has discretely mounted under dash gauges and a CD player/radio. I believe the engine and transmission were original to the car.  The rehab work was done in the early 2000's. It has 3 2 barrel carburetors and exhaust headers.  Comes with some documentation  and LOTS of PARTS.

The engine and transmission were overhauled right before it was purchased. The car was repainted in original emberglo. It is dent and rust free. Original interior is in good shape except for a split in the rear bench, and has a none original dash cover. Carpets were replaced 10 years ago, and the convertible top and wiring were done at the same time. Everything is in working order.

Very good condition. Beautiful blue metallic paint on a very straight, rust free body. Most of the chrome is in very good condition especially the rear 7 litre trunk spear. The interior is in decent condition, but is original so it could use new seat covers. It has a new top. The underside of the car is in great condition - no rust. This car has been well taken care of and appears to have been garaged it's entire life. I've owned it for 29 years, always garaged.  Runs and drives smoothly. Odometer shows about 71,000 miles, probably original.  Back in 1997 at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle Pa the car received 2 plaques from the 7 Litre club (Best Convertible and Participant's Choice).

The Galaxie is a 66 hard top. It has power steering, air conditioning. My father-in-law is selling the car, his father was the original owner. It runs but needs work. Its been sitting for 10 years. We recently installed a new radiator, water pump, fuel pump, and rebuilt the carb. I am not certain of the mileage but i believe its around 100,000.

In 1981, with 152,000 miles on the odometer, the original engine threw a rod. I spent nearly 6 months before finding a 428 with the correct (C6ME) casting. . After replacing the engine, I curtailed the amount of driving I did in the car, until 1985 when I "retired" it to my back yard. the odometer showed 168,510 miles. The primary reason for retiring the car was rust overtaking the body and frame.   Sold 12/2011
