Car was purchased from Barrett Jackson Auction. The exterior was in great shape with a single stage paint job. It was cut and buffed. The motor was shot so it was replaced with a punched out 500 hp FE. Added Crites headers, an electric fuel pump and detailed the engine. Rebuilt the brake system and redid the shifter. The interior is redone from Dearborn Classics.

The body on this car is in very good condition. Some light rust and a couple spots that were repaired at one time. The paint is faded and chipped. All windows are great no cracks or broken out. The original 428 is long gone. The replacement 428 engine is complete, but does need to be rebuilt . The floor boards are rusty, but I think no holes. All Lights and back lights are in great shape! Has 2 hub caps and extra transmission. The seats have some tears in the seats but they are not in that bad of shape for being 42 years old. The dash is in need of repair. It is cracked and peeling. All emblems are intact except for the trunk emblem. |

This is an excellent example of a survivor muscle car. It is a nice straight, mostly original 7 LITRE Galaxie. The body is very straight and solid (both rear quarters show a little bulbing behind the rear tires, otherwise it is super solid. The interior is in excellent condition and looks to be original. Trunk mat is still in place but shows wear. The body is excellent, paint appears mostly original. Engine compartment is clean. Runs and drives very good, sounds GREAT!! The muscle car is not perfect but is a very good classic and a very rare 7 LITRE car. The odometer shows 105,000 miles which appears to be correct but the title states exempt. |

Our senior Canadian spy found this one for sale in Edmonton Alberta. Car was originally built in Wayne Michigan for the Canadian market. "B6". Probably spent its entire life in Alberta. Don't know how long this guy had owned it or its present condition but it looks very rough from the very few pictures he has of it. All the expensive outside chrome mouldings are off the car. |

I bought this 7-Litre in September of 2008 and drove it home with some sight seeing along the way, we covered about 2200 miles from montana to southern missouri. We had two offers that were double what we paid. I'm in the middle of the restoring the car.

This car was found by Tom Volpone. It was located at a yard in Apache Junction, AZ. The body was Whimbledon White, with blue interior. I considered buying this back then, but it wasn’t worth the effort to transport it back to Ohio. I was told that the car spent most of its life in Virginia. Explains the rust on a southwestern car. |

My friend and I looked at a 427 in a basement. He made a deal to buy it. The seller asked if he wanted the rest of the parts, that being the car! The Galaxie stayed at my house for 2 years, until my friend took it to NC for 11 years. 3 years ago, I bought it as a birthday gift. Flash forward to 9 months ago. While talking cars with a Corvette guy, I was able to find the original owner, his high school friend. 2 weeks ago the original owner tracked me down and presented me with the original window sticker and invoice, and is still looking for the warrantee card. He cannot wait to see it restored. I guess it pays to be friendly and talk to other car guys. Car is black with a red interior, 427 8v, 4 spd, and a 3.5:1, 9 3/8 rear. She is rough, but will be restored soon, as I am still gathering the missing parts. |

I purchased this car as a parts car to fix the r code 7 litre, but I might fix her anyway. She is hit hard in the passengers rear, but has minimal rust. She is Black with a black interior and came with a 429CJ Auto out of a 1970 Cobra Torino. I did get the original 428 in the deal so she can be restored.
Sadly, this car has been reported as parted out, September, 2008. It is posted for historic reference only. Damage was too severe to make restoration possible. - Editor |

The story on the car starts right after I had recently purchased a 66
Fairlane GT. My Father was looking over the car and said that when he and his buddy Jack left the RCAF back in 1966, that Jack bought a car that looked just like this with the biggest engine he could get! Jack had recently passed on, and my father wondered if the car was still in the garage. The car has 61k miles and has been off the road since 1981. It was in need of a gas tank, master cyl., and a carb rebuild. She will see the road for the first time in 27 years next month.
Sadlly, during the Winter of 2009 the car was parked and was demolished by a drunk driver. Regis never even got to drive it. It went from low mileage original to parts car in one day. - Editor
