Everything will be re-done to factory specifications as the car undergoes a complete frameoff restoration.		The primed body sports the necessary cowl repairs, due to a previous accident. the new cowl was from an A/C car, so Jay's 7-Litre can now gain a factory A/C system.
(cont.) alterations to the cowl were made to fix the issue with the damage from a previous accident. Also the repairs to the Left rear quarter were made. Stress cracks to the rear quarters are common to the 7-Litre Hardtops, due to the substantial amount of torque from the 428 ci engine. A stock 7-Litre engine puts out an impressive 462 foot pounds of torque. In addition to the rust repairs, all body panels will be gone over and straightened. Once all repairs were made the body was Epoxy Lower Quarter repair to fix a small rust issue		Another view of the repaired body, now rust and dent free. primed to seal the metal. The next step will be to go over the entire body to make sure there are no body imperfections like small dents and scratches. During the restoration, Jay's full time body man, Per, left for a month vacation so progress came to a halt. Even with a month "delay", the progress has been amazing. In the begining of August, Per was back to work and things moved along quickly. Some variations are being made to the car, but all are in keeping with the spirit of the manual shift 7-Litre. Jay has opted for a custom built Roush FE engine, with fuel injection that will produce 590hp. The stock 4 speed will be
