Here we have a 4 speed convertible finished in the factory colors of Raven Black with Parchment trim. Along with the 7-Litre standard Power Steering and Brakes, it is optioned with a Power Top and Power Driver’s Seat. I purchased this 7 litre in October 08 from Oregon. It now resides here in Edmonton, Alberta CANADA. My father had a 66 7 litre dark blue hardtop (Auto) he purchased new. It was our family car till they sold it in 1980 for a whopping $1200 dollars (Canadian yet). I was 13 years old at the time and I begged them to keep it for me without any luck. I don’t know what happened to that car and my parents have no records (#’s) to trace it down. I always loved that car and now I have the convertible version. You should have seen my parents face when I pulled up with that car the first time. This is a beautiful car 4spd all tags and codes are “matching”. Drives like a dream. (best I could do for the custom licence plate was 66Q7LTR)

Almost everything on this car is NOS. It’s a 4 speed, factory air, power windows and door locks, safety light package, reclining passenger seat. The story of the convertible is as follows. Dave Atkins bought the car in the late 80’s, from someplace in Colorado and dragged it back home. It was torn down to absolutely nothing and rebuilt 1 nut and bolt at a time, over a 5 year period. The car was finished in 1992. No detail was left undone or unnoticed. It is a perfect job. Originally Wimbledon White with a Parchment interior, it is no longer an original color car. That was done because Dave was already in possession of a brand new NOS interior complete----seats, panels, console etc. so once this was done, he was stuck with the color. The colors are correct Ford 7 Litre colors and this car pulls it all off beautifully. |

Bought in 2007. Believed to possibly be a Ford exec's car. It was built in LA and stayed in the area until the owners death. Willed to his friend in Oklahoma. When the friend died his wife sold the car. It has 78,000 original miles. Power steering and brakes and AM/FM radio, one repaint, new top and windshield and new factory correct interior, replaced by SMS Upholstery in Oregon. Dash pad and 4-speed shift bezel have also been restored. Nearly every piece of trim on the body is NOS including hub caps, collected over the last two years. Has NOS factory 427 headers and 427 dual quad aluminum intake manifold. |

Purchased in May 2004 in Grandview, WA. from Dean Rapp. I have owned seven full size Galaxie’s and Mercury’s over the years, but never even saw a 7-Litre car until I purchased this one.It is one of those few remaining numbers-matching 4-speed convertible cars. Has factory A/C, the AM-FM radio and passenger side reclining seat. The car had a body-off restoration in the early 1990’s. The car then spent some time in Port Orchard, WA before moving to Grandview . The car was originally from NJ and the previous owner once drove it from Washington to the show in Hershey, PA. Since then, I re-detailed the engine compartment, replaced the interior, hood spear, tail lights and put in the AM-FM radio. It has won a few trophies at some local shows.

Uncommon but beautiful color combination of Arcadian Blue with a Light Blue interior and a White top. It has an automatic, Air Conditioning, and this one also has the reclining passenger seat one of the rarest options. It had a frame on frame restoration back in the mid 90s. |

Here is a well maintained, well cared for, low mileage example. Only 77,401 miles as of 2008 and is in great driver condition inside and out. It is all original except for one repaint (with color change from Vintage Burgundy). Even the Power Convertible Top is original! Aftermarket Alpine CD player added, strategically placed without alteration to interior or dash, but still has its original radio with rare reverberation unit. |
