Mike Patak This beast is from Mike Patak’s fine collection.  It features a 427 SOHC Cammer engine with a single 4V.  Professionally installed frame off restoration on an unbelievably rust free Arizona convertible. Fully documented with original build sheet. Magazine article etc. Correct Candy Apple Red with Burgundy and Red Crinkle vinyl interior. Completely new interior installed. Complete dash restoration, pad cluster cover dash bezel, etc. This is a very unique piece of Ford history. Approximately only 500 Cammer engines were built in the mid 60's. Very few are known to exist in street cars. It's known as the only 1966, 7-Litre convertible powered by a Cammer 427.

Carl Heitman

This car was for sale in the Worcester Massachusetts area in 2007.  98,748 documented miles at that time.  It reportedly had some rust issues in the doors, quarters, and trunk.  Not horrible for a 40 year old car in the northeast.  It left the Mahwah N.J. plant with an exterior of Tahoe Turquoise and a Light Aqua interior.

Mark Alsobrook Car was first sold to Bernice Higgins and Ray Hansen in Omaha Nebraska June 27, 1966 (I have the original manual/service book).  I bought it two years ago in Tustin California where I still live.  The woman I bought it from told me her father had left it to her (no further details).  The odometer reads +/- 37,000.  The documentation is limited, but based on condition it is possible that is the true mileage. It has power top and brakes, but no A/C or PW.  I have made a few engine upgrades, but I retained all original parts.  It now has an Edelbrock cam and intake along with headers.  I had a 4 core radiator made and installed an electric fan.  She’s a driver and runs terrific.

Ted Mottor

This car was built on 11/16/65 in Chicago for the Ontario (B1) market. It was sold in Wallaceburg, Ontario on 1/15/66. Ted purchased the car in Nov., 2010 and brought it back into the U.S. (west of Boston).  During 2011-12, it was fully restored to “factory stock” by Lost Legends Auto Restorations in Weare, NH.  The car is Emberglo with all-original Parchment interior and a C6 automatic tranny. It has plenty of factory options including P/W, PDL, P/S, 6-way driver's seat, reclining passenger seat (w/ adj. headrest), AM/FM radio, convenience group, deluxe seatbelts, and tinted windshield. Other original dealer options added during restoration were 8-track player, e-brake warning light, dual rear antenna, bumper guards, front fender turn indicator lights, door edge guards, fuel door edge guard, day/night rearview mirror, remote driver’s sideview mirror, and passenger side-view mirror.

Bill Cooper Owner purchased this car  from Ron Vitarelli, who had it restored at Lost Legends in it's original Emberglo paint. It is absolutely gorgeous; Bob was quoted as saying, "I would say the best paintwork I've ever seen." That is no surprise since Vivian did it! He will get it completely sorted and plans to put a set of 427 Cobra Jet manifolds to help her breathe better (yes he has an original pair of CJ exhaust manifolds). It will stay 100% Ford. It is a rare 4 speed car.

John Charlson I ordered it in the fall of '65 and took delivery in December of '65. I get a kick out of reading about you guys out driving and having fun with their cars. Anyway, all you guys put together haven't had near the fun that I've had with mine, I'm sure. I got married and my wife and took our honeymoon in it. I just loved that car and couldn't trade it, so I still have it and the same wife. It got to be my everyday car then I put it in storage for a few years. On the 25th anniversary of the 7-Litre we went to a suburb of Milwaukee to an all Ford show. I heard there was a 7-Litre there. I still take it out and drive it a few times a year. Every thing is still original, except the top. I've had to replace that a few times. The only options I have on it is power windows. I wanted another four speed, but I wanted the 8-track tape instead. (I drove better, but not slower with my 7-Litre).

Jim Hollister

Jim found this car while touring a junkyard in Texas, looking for some 1968 Torino parts. It is a 4speed car with power windows, A/C, and a pretty set of badges reading "7 Litre". He managed to swing buying it for $1,000.00 down and $250.00 a month. Jim says of the Owner of the yard, Larry Hewitt, "I think he was just being nice to a soldier...but I was ok with that...lol. I drove the car for a year or so before blowing the engine (I still have it...it needs a sleeve..or two)." It is now parked down in Texas waiting for the day that he pulls her up Ontario and gets her back to glory.
