7-Litre Group Pictures

Well, despite the rain on Friday, Ford Nationals 2009 was alot of fun. Lots of stories and information were exchanged. Parts weren't getting any cheaper, with a couple of trunk spears garnering a price tag of $2,500 and $4,500 respectively. Mustangs still rule the show and they are giving us less and less room each year. We had to shoe horn in Lou's car, which he brought after just getting the engine back in. We had about ten 7-Litres show up. We hope to keep improving on our numbers every year. Homewood Suites is still definitely the way to go as far as rooms. It rained all day Friday, but most of us still managed to walk the show a few times and catch some interesting sights including a a couple 67's in the Car Corral, and the 21k original LTD, that fell off the trailer on the way to the show. What a shame. There were plenty of nicely done cars to look at; Charlie brought his Raven Black hardtop. The paint job is amazing. Ron Barnhardt had his "NOS'd out" Nightmist blue convert and Mike Patak even brought his 1 of 2 ever built 427 convertibles, to name a few.
